Enhanced Eye Examination
Working, studying, or raising a young family can be very demanding on your eyes and sight. Take a break from the daily grind and invest in your own health. Working remotely using digital devices can lead to dry eye disease, increase in short-sightedness, and digital eye strain.
Our enhanced eye examinations are suitable for all adults under 40 years old. The patient care and clinical assessment include:
- 40-minute appointment.
- Covid safe setting & PPE worn by professional staff.
- Experienced practitioners.
- Rexxam Auto-Refraction (Japan) provides a quick and accurate measurement of your spectacle prescription.
- Optomap (California) allows a widefield retinal scanning with social distancing
- Provides non-invasive deep tissue analysis
- Slit lamp microscopy (Japan) is used to carry out an initial tear film assessment.
- A paper or digital copy of your prescription will be issued.
- Advice on lifestyle, diet and how to look after your eyes will be given.
- Best lens recommendations by your optometrist.
- Referral to your GP, NHS or private hospital if required.
The enhanced eye examination is provided as part of our Gold Plan membership. For patient not subscribed to our care plan, the current pay-as-you-go professional fee of £49 will be charged.
